Her roommates in seminary noticed it first.

She couldn’t get up in the morning.

She was lethargic all day.

She had trouble concentrating in class.

She was anxious in the dorm.

Her teachers saw that something was wrong. Concerned, they reached out.

She needed therapy. But unfortunately, she had no way to pay for it...

She never got the help she needed...

It is for this reason that Tatzmichu was created.

With the encouragement of leading Rabbanim and Mechanchim, Rabbi Meir Kahane, teacher in 12 seminaries and Menahel of Chedvas Bais Yaakov, together with a group of capable students created TATZMICHU – a nonprofit organization that provides funding to seminary students in need of mental health care.

Mental health challenges don't disappear. If left unresolved, a young woman’s difficulties may become part of her home and impact her family.

Consequently, the cycle continues.
